Previous spotlight artists include Chuck Arland, Erik Clausen, Matthew Clark and Dan O’Day. Amazingly talented photographers. All I can say is “Wow!” Here is a reprint of the interview. 1.  You are based in Vancouver, Wash., do…

Nice interview – your warm personality shows through. Hey sign me up for the lighting workshop with you and Kevin – that would be great!

Great interview, Randy! (love the picture of you as well!) I still get goosebumps looking at the “ruins” series.

All the way around, you’re amazing!

Summer is coming, so consider a visit to work on that tan! We’ll be here all of July.

Mexico is amazing! We’ve been to Puerto Vallerta and loved it. The water wasn’t bright blue though! Would love to see the mayan ruins and explore. I’m sure you’ll go back…sounds like you’re hooked!

Wow, great pictures of your trip Randy. I’m glad you and your wife were able to enjoy a trip together. I’ve yet to make it down to Mexico but it’s definitely on my list:)

Wicked pics. I’m happy you had a good time and made it through the checkpoint. Playa del Carmen is not immmune from the spiraling drug violence plaguing our southern neighbor. I must point out your (extreme) modesty; you’ve made those images fantastic both by your talent for seeing, but also for eeking out all that texture, detail, contrast and color. Your bring those P&S shots alive!

Amazing images from a point & shoot! Just proves again, it’s not the tools, it’s the mind behind them. Love the magical properties of tequila sign.
