Well, I may be a little biased, but I think #5 and
#12 are my favorites! #11 is absolutely fabulous too!

BTW - # 5 is hanging beautifully in our home and receives outstanding reviews from all who see it! We absolutely LOVE it!

Can't wait to hear how you did!

See you at Nate & Erin's wedding in September.

Hey my favorites never made it in. What gives? Those would be the ones you did of my daughters wedding of course.

Okay all kidding aside (well most kidding aside) these are my favorites;
#3 - The Curious Groomsmen (very unique - very funny)
#4 - Amateur Photographer (wonderful lighting and timing)
#5 - The Wall of Shame (I like your take on this)
#7 - Laughing Bride & Bridesmaids (again great timing)
#8 - Photo Assistant (obviously an overworked guy)
#14 - The Flower Girl (the toughest job around)

I'm in total agreement with you too on what you wrote. Educating our clients is the best thing we can do for them, even if they don’t choose us. Apparently some couples are doing their homework. I’ve noticed over the past few years that they have been asking a lot more questions, and good ones too. I assume most likely due to better internet resources.

Well, since I know which ones were entered, I'd have to say it's unfair that any of these had to be discarded. They are all fantastic and all are award-winning! It was fun deciding which ones would make the cut!

Ditto the yay ! Great to see a blog post from you, sir !

What a great post ... a wonderful way to educate on the importance of wedding photography! Let's face it, we can re-do any other shoot, should it go wrong, but weddings happen once, and every moment within each wedding only happens once, it is up to us as professionals to be able to tell the story and do it well.

Love your shots you had to choose from ... hmmm, let me see, little guy with camera (great expression) and the "flare" shot?

Good luck too :)

Yay! A blog post from Mr Kepple! :)

<em>"I’ve worked with assistants who will pull off an artistic image on their first wedding. It may even make it into the final wedding album. However, ask them to do this again and most will fail without the years of experience behind them."</em>

This is exactly what I look for when I am looking at websites and portfolios. A photographer who can get an award winning image at EVERY wedding is one that stands out.

It is fun for me to look at these - knowing which ones actually did make it into the albums! My favorites are the Ring Ken, Please Seat Yourself, and Karra and Paul's lens flare shot. :)
