RSS in Plain English
A few months ago, I wrote an article called “Feeding the RSS”. Being able to subscribe to my favorite blogs has greatly reduced the amount of time I waste trying to keep up with all the fresh content being served up daily. I talk with people all the time who tell me they had no clue that I had new content on my blog. They forget to check back. First of all, what’s up with that? The beauty of RSS feeds and an RSS reader is that the content is brought to you as soon as it’s updated. You don’t have to remember to check! Once you get it set up (and it’s so simple even my father could do it) then you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
In case you are still apprehensive, watch this great video that explains RSS in plain English. It’s presented by the great folks over at Common Craft. Thanks guys! Now, watch this video and be sure to add my blog to your favorite flavor of RSS reader. All you have to do is click the little orange icon…c’mon…I dare you!
Subscribe and drink it up!
Wow, that was really helpful! I’ll do it! Your blog will be the first I’ll add. Thanks Randy
