Andrea and Christopher | Studio 1050 Portland Wedding

Andrea and Christopher were married June 24th at Studio 1050 in downtown Portland. Their wedding was my second at Studio 1050 and one of the last as they close their doors this summer. Politics and changes in zoning have made it impossible for them to remain in their current location. What a shame as it’s…

Randy, these first few photos look great. We’re really excited to see the others! I want to thank you so much for your enthusiasm for photography, and ability to capture the real moments of our wedding night rather than only taking the typical formal ‘posed’ shots. Everyone has commented on your ability to engage your subject, and make them feel more at ease.
Thank you so much…..we look forward to working with you in the future!

Chris…thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. It’s couples like you and Andrea that keep me enthusiastic about photography and engaged with my subjects. Thank you for supporting my vision and for realizing that there is more to photography than what meets the eye!

Jennifer and Jason | Riverfront Park Engagement Session

While dining at a Chinese restaurant, I received the following quote with my fortune cookie..“Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.” This perfectly describes Jennifer and Jason and their approach to living life. One of the things I enjoy most about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples. And…

Thanks brother! Start with a cute couple who love each other, find the most beautiful light and you have magic. These two are so amazing. Very comfortable in front of the camera. I appreciate the comments!

Jason and Jennifer – Although I do not know either of you personally; Jason, I have come to know of you through your proud Aunt, Chris, with whom I work. She has been showing your pictures around every chance she gets because she is a proud aunt!

I so happy to hear Chris speak equally as proud regarding the love of your life name Jennifer. Jason, She IS So Beautiful and from what I understand you both are deserving of each other.

May God continue to bless you, your love and your lives together today and until the time Jesus comes to take you home to an even greater place to express your love for one another.

God’s Peace, Prosperity, and HIS continued will for your lives.

These are beutiful photos Randy. Although i am the proud auntie of Jason, and , yes, they are very cute kids, still, you did a great job ! The lighting, angles of the photos and making them comfortable enough to act and look like themselves tells me a lot about your ability to put people at ease and take great shots at the same time.

Now , i just have to get my grubby little hands on these photos and the photos to come….

Very nice : )

Jason and Jennifer,

Though I have not know Jay long and I have never met Jennifer, I can tell just by seeing these photos that you both seem deliriously happy. I wish you both the best on a long life together.

Kristen and Thomas | Bethany Vineyards Engagement Session

There is a Latin phrase in vino veritas, which literally means ‘truth in wine.’ This is the truth that Kristen and Thomas share. A passion for each other and for wine. This shared passion brought us to a vineyard, the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. Their wedding is on December 30th and as much…

Randy,

Thanks so much for the time that you spent with Kristen and I for our engagement shoot. Your passion and talent for photography is truely evident in your ability to convey our story on film…or should I say on media cards. We had a great time at Bethany’s Vineyard and are looking forward to sharing our wedding day with you in December.
